Job Context

The management of Desh Garments Limited (100% export-oriented RMG factory) is seeking qualified, experienced, and highly skilled personnel who should drive the finance & accounts departmental areas/issues.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Finalizing Budgetary assumptions from Top Management and Board of Directors, and to control accordingly
  • Distributing and Collecting Deliverables templates to business units for input data.
  • Use input data to prepare a Budget and Business Plan.
  • Prepare Periodic Financial Variance reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Prepare the MIS reports for the Top Management and Board of Directors review.
  • Prepare Monthly Cash Flow Forecast.
  • Deal with daily fund management.
  • To check and finalize all kinds of accounting entries.
  • Take responsibility for TDS and VAT-related activities.
  • Prepare financial statements (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/yearly).

Employment Status: Full Time

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
  • Master's in Accounting from any reputed university/ ACCA/ CMA/ CA (Partly Qualified)

Experience Requirements

  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Budgeting, Finance, Finance/ Accounts
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, RMG.

Additional Requirements

  • The applicants with the Garments Industry experience will be preferred for this position.
  • Knowledge of the latest accounting tools /Software available for reporting Management accounts.
  • Exposure to an ERP environment, MS Excel, and Tally Accounting software.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Effective cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Team approach to solve a problem/issue.
  • Positive attitude towards accomplishing business goals.
  • Must have the intention to learn new methods of working and new technology.
  • Knowledge to develop and maintain inventory accounting.
