๐€๐›๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐‘๐จ๐ฅ๐ž:

The Asst. Manager-Accounts will be responsible for managing the entire finance & accounting cycle for the hospital/clinic, including invoicing, VAT, tax compliance, bookโ€keeping, reporting, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data. This is a hands-on role requiring strong accounting knowledge, a hospital or healthcare sector background preferred, and someone ready to take full ownership rather than return to study.

๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ:

* Oversee the full accounts ledger from day-to-day entries through to month-end close

* Generate and dispatch invoices to patients, insurers, thirdโ€party payers, and other stakeholders; track receivables and reconcile

* Monitor and manage VAT compliance (registration, submission, calculation) and other indirect tax issues

* Prepare tax returns (corporate tax, withholding tax, etc.) and coordinate with tax advisors/auditors as required

* Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, trial balances, balance sheets, profit & loss, cash flow reports

* Review and maintain internal controls around accounting processes; identify and mitigate risks

* Liaise with auditors during statutory audits and internal reviews; prepare schedules, support documentation

* Cost allocation and budgeting support: assist in budget preparation, monitor budget vs actual, highlight variances

* Coordinate with other departments (Clinical, Admin, HR etc.) to obtain data and ensure integrated reporting

* Ensure fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and proper accounting for medical equipment and facilities

* Maintain the accounting software system, ensure data integrity and timely backups

* Keep upโ€toโ€date with changes in accounting standards, VAT and tax laws in Bangladesh and ensure the organization is compliant

๐‘๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounts & Finance from any reputed University (CAโ€partially qualified)

* Minimum 8โ€“10 years' experience in an accounting role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment (or other service sector with complex invoicing & tax)

* Proven track record of handling invoicing and receivables, managing full ledger, preparing financial statements and reports

* Hands-on knowledge of accounting software (ERP or hospitalโ€finance systems) and MS Excel
