Executive/ Senior Executive - Customer Service

Job Description / Responsibility

One of the leading Multinational Logistic Company invites applications from qualified candidates for the following posts.

We are looking for a dynamic, diligent Customer Service person with sound Shipping knowledge.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Enters the cargo ship data into the Port Manager billing & tracking system
  • Releases/clears customer cargo.
  • Collects cargo related fees from non-account customers.
  • Posts invoices relating to all cargo ships.
  • Adjusts/corrects data related to amended documentation from Shipping Agent.
  • Reconciles individual daily collections.
  • Update and maintain inbound/outbound shipping files.
  • Assists in any area and task necessary for pre/post potential natural disaster.
  • If not required for these duties during any time you are on pay, you may be required to carry out any other work within your capability. This includes general laboring tasks where minimal instruction is required.
  • Undertakes any reasonable training that the Company may require. This includes training for current or new duties as well as the periodic reassessment of existing certifications.
  • Strives to achieve consistently high levels of productivity and customer service, meeting the performance targets that will be set and reviewed on a rolling basis.
  • Ensures compliance to all policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP"), with recommendations for action and continuous improvement.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Minimum BBA graduate in Management Major from any reputed public/private university.
  • An MBA will be added an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 to 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Freight forwarding

Additional Requirements

  • General Skill:
    Must be fluent in English, Sound MS Office knowledge, Good with using various software, team player.
  • Specialized Experience:
    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience related job.

Knowledge Required:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to the public and staff through various means of communication.
  • Make sound, independent decisions within established policy and procedural guidelines.
  • Quickly learn various computer programs.
  • Handle difficult customer situations involving account disputes, collections, and delinquent accounts.
  • Make timely decisions and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to get along with people from different levels within the organization.
  • Courteous and always conduct oneself in a professional manner.
  • Detailed oriented, discrete, diligent and dependable.
  • Self-starter and able to use sound judgement.
  • Basic computer literacy, mathematical, accounting principles.
