Responsibilities:
As the Senior Officer of the Recruitment team, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the entire recruitment process for assigned portfolios, from talent sourcing to assessment and onboarding. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization has the right talent in place, while also adhering to policy, processes, and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Attract and source potential talent from possible channels as per requirement
- Coordinate with hiring managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs
- Conduct recruitment events, including written tests, interviews, and assessment centres and write selection notes based on the outcomes
- Prepare and maintain CV bank, market mapping, and candidate pipelines for future hiring needs
- Prepare selection tools based on the requirements including competency-based questionnaire, aptitude test, psychometric test, and assessment centre to bring out the best candidates
- Ensure proper joining and onboarding of the new employees by giving them a seamless experience
- Promote inclusive hiring practices, including hiring of gender-diverse individuals and people with disabilities
- Practice safe recruitment policy and procedures by conducting reference checks, background checks, police verification, and the certificate verification process
- Maintain liaison with various universities and training institutes for employer branding activities
- Prepare and maintain recruitment-related reports and dashboards
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in the talent sourcing and recruitment field.
In addition, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude and goal-oriented mindset, as well as effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
