Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets, handling payroll processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, monitoring financial transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in audits. You will work closely with other team members to support the financial stability and reporting processes of the company.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial record-keeping, preparing financial statements, and managing budgets
  • Skills in payroll processing and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of tax compliance, financial regulations, and audit preparation processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA qualification is a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
  • Prior experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industries is considered advantageous
