Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Staff Accountant at Imparo Ventures Ltd., based in Dhaka. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in budgeting processes. Additional tasks include ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing tax filings, and collaborating with other departments to support financial operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting processes
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus
- Prior experience in the accounting or finance department of a company is preferred
