Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for 5 
Junior Accountants
 to join our Bangladesh team.

In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting tasks, assist in financial documentation, and collaborate with the Global Finance & Accounts team. You will work closely with senior accountants and the CFO to ensure compliance, accuracy, and smooth accounting operations across Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations

• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations
• Support audits and financial reviews

Monthly & Annual Closing

• Assist in monthly closing activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reporting documentation.

Financial Compliance & Support

• Ensure that all accounting activities comply with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing and digital documentation of all financial records.

Finance Tools & Systems

• Work with 
  Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
   for accounting documentation.
• Support data entry and financial updates into cloud-based systems (e.g., 
  NetSuite, Kintone
  , or internal tools used by the global finance team).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of digital records.

Operational Support

• Assist in expense reimbursements and petty cash management.
• Support the senior accountant and management with periodic reporting.
• Provide administrative support for finance-related tasks.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good communication skills in English (reading/writing).
• Willingness to learn modern accounting systems and new technologies.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in a tech startup or multinational company.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems (NetSuite, Kintone, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Knowledge of IFRS or international accounting standards.
• Interest in AI, digital platforms, and emerging technologies.
