We specialize in building tailored digital platforms that solve real-world problems — from eCommerce to ERP to SaaS applications. Now, we're ready to scale our impact globally, and we're looking for a world-class Business Development Manager to lead this mission.
The Role:
As the Business Development Manager, your mission will be to identify, connect with, and close deals with international clients who need custom software development solutions. You'll work closely with our technical team to craft proposals, win RFPs, and build long-term partnerships in markets like North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and engage potential international clients for custom software projects.
Pitch Maple's software development capabilities to global businesses, startups, agencies, and consultants.
Respond to RFPs and lead proposal development with the tech team.
Represent Maple at virtual/international tech events, expos, and B2B networks.
Build and manage a strong international sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Negotiate and close contracts with mid to large-scale clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
Report on lead generation, conversion metrics, and market trends.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Marketing, or Computer Science.
5–8 years of experience in international software sales or IT services business development.
Proven success in closing B2B software development projects.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong understanding of SDLC, tech stacks, and solution selling.
Familiarity with platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, Clutch, GoodFirms, and international B2B marketplaces.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in client acquisition in US, UK, Canada, Europe, or GCC regions.
Strong network of foreign business owners, consultants, or agencies.
Experience working in a software agency or outsourcing company.
Ability to draft project scopes, business proposals, and basic pricing models.
