About the Role

Global Brand PLC., one of Bangladesh's leading ICT distribution companies, is looking for a Business Development Manager
who will play a key role in driving product growth, strengthening market presence, and building sustainable relationships with channel partners and principals.

This role demands a mix of strategic planning, market insight, and hands-on execution. You'll be responsible for overseeing product performance, managing inventory health, coordinating with principals, and ensuring business profitability across multiple product portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage product portfolios
    by setting clear sales targets and strategies in collaboration with top management.
  • Track and analyse product performance
    regularly to ensure business targets are achieved and profitability is maintained.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels
    through effective PSI (Purchase–Sales–Inventory) analysis, coordination with PM & commercial teams, and proactive demand planning.
  • Strengthen market presence
    by frequently visiting branches and IT markets nationwide to gather insights, monitor competition, and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with principal and brand teams
    to design and execute campaigns, promotions, and rebate programs that support business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships
    with Tier 1 and Tier 2 dealers and partners to increase sales volume and loyalty.
  • Identify workflow improvements
    to enhance process efficiency and support the company's overall operational excellence.
  • Research emerging technologies and brands
    to explore new opportunities for business expansion.
  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations
    for internal and principal meetings.

Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Marketing, or any relevant field.
  • Experience:
    4–6 years in Business Development, Product/Brand Management, or Channel Sales (ICT industry experience preferred).
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong analytical and reporting ability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Strategic, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency level in English (speaking & writing)
