Senior Executive - Accounts

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Ensure full compliance with VAT, Income Tax, and other regulatory requirements as per Bangladesh laws.
  • Accurately prepare and timely file monthly VAT returns, annual income tax returns, and other statutory submissions to the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
  • Assist the Finance & Accounts team in handling audits, tax assessments, and regulatory hearings.
  • Prepare and maintain vouchers, journal entries, ledgers, and other financial records with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing of all accounts-related records for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • Skills Required: Accounting Software, VAT and Tax, MS Excel

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 8 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Garments,Textile,Buying House,Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Professional certification (CA-CC, CMA partly qualified, or equivalent) will be an added advantage
