The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Manager to drive our growth and operational excellence. This is a leadership role for a proven performer who thrives on targets, excels under pressure, and is passionate about making a tangible impact in the skill development sector. You will be the engine behind our expansion, managing our core operations while aggressively pursuing new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Project Acquisition:

• Lead the end-to-end process of acquiring new government projects (e.g., ASSET, NSDA, STEP, TVET, etc.) and non-government/corporate contracts.
• Research, identify, and pursue new tender and proposal opportunities.
• Develop compelling, high-quality proposals, bids, and presentations to secure projects.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key officials in government bodies, corporations, and industry partners.

2. Operations & Training Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end management of all existing training classes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with the training delivery team to optimize resources, schedules, and learning outcomes.
• Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for training efficiency and effectiveness.

3. Placement & Corporate Linkages:

• Develop and execute a robust placement strategy for both local and international job markets.
• Forge strong partnerships with employers, recruitment agencies, and overseas placement partners.
• Track placement metrics and ensure high placement percentages for all training batches, fulfilling project mandates and institute goals.

4. Team Leadership & Performance Management:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of executives to achieve individual and collective targets.
• Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture within the team.
• Manage resource allocation and workload distribution to maximize productivity.

Who You Are:

• A skilled, self-driven, and experienced professional with a proven track record in business development, preferably within the skill development, education, or HR consulting sector.

Must-have Experience:

• Proven success in acquiring and managing government projects/tenders.
• Demonstrable experience in leading local and international placement activities.
• Experience in managing training operations or similar project-based deliverables.
• A history of working with and exceeding strict revenue, project, and placement targets.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in a managerial role.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both English and Bengali.
• Strong existing network in relevant government and corporate circles is a significant advantage.
