Position Overview:
The
Business Development Manager (B2B Sales
) will lead GPEL's expansion strategy by building and managing institutional partnerships, education agent networks, and regional development channels. This role requires a proactive leader who can create and manage a chain of Business Development Executives or Associates working both in Dhaka and across Bangladesh. The position involves significant fieldwork, networking, and team management to drive enrollment growth and brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partnership & B2B Development
Identify, approach, and onboard new partner institutions, agents, schools, colleges, and training centers.
Develop and maintain strategic alliances to expand GPEL's regional footprint.
Conduct presentations, promotional visits, and partnership meetings both in Dhaka and other divisions.
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and institutional partners.
2. Team Leadership & Network Building
Recruit, train, and lead a network of Business Development Executives/Associates operating in Dhaka and regional areas.
Set clear sales and outreach targets, monitor team performance, and ensure productivity.
Provide mentorship, field guidance, and continuous motivation to achieve business growth goals.
3. Field Operations & Market Expansion
Execute regular field visits to generate new business leads and strengthen existing partnerships.
Gather and analyze market intelligence and competitor insights to enhance strategy.
Plan and support regional education fairs, events, and promotional campaigns in coordination with marketing and operations teams.
4. Reporting & Performance Management
Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and partner communications through CRM systems.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly business performance reports to management.
Continuously evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
Minimum 4–6 years of proven experience in B2B sales, education consultancy, or EdTech industry.
Demonstrated experience in building and managing regional business development teams.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Must be willing to travel extensively within and outside Dhaka.
Candidates with their own motorbike will be given preference and will receive travel allowance as per company package.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
