Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy of accounts, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support strategic financial planning
  • Support the preparation of consolidated monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with BAS, BFRS, and BRAC management requirements
  • Coordinate the month-end closing process and collaborate with Finance & Accounts colleagues to perform detailed monthly analysis of general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving reconciliation discrepancies by providing necessary guidance
  • Supervise strategic business unit accountants to ensure smooth execution of finance and accounting functions
  • Collaborate and liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely support and resolution of audit queries
  • Participate actively in initiatives related to cashless and paperless financial transactions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Develop, recommend, and implement process improvement initiatives within the finance function
  • Review and approve bills, vouchers, and financial documents as per organizational policy

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation
  • Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so

Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline preferable

Professional Degree/Certification:

  • Certifications in CA-CC, ACCA, CMA will be preferable

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience preferable
