Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Manager – Skilled Migration Program to lead and expand AYAT Network's skilled migration initiatives. This role will require strategic leadership, cross-sector coordination, international stakeholder engagement, and a deep understanding of migration, vocational training, and global labor markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Management & Strategy

  • Design, implement, and scale up AYAT Network's skilled migration programs.
  • Develop pathways for international job placement in collaboration with ASDC, AYAT Care Training Institute, and ACNHS.
  • Monitor labor market trends and identify emerging opportunities in healthcare, care work, and other technical sectors.

2. Candidate Preparation & Support

  • Oversee end-to-end candidate preparation, including enrollment, technical upskilling, international certification, and soft/language skills training.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with accredited language training centers and certification bodies (e.g., IELTS, NCLEX, Prometric, etc.).
  • Ensure all candidates are prepared for culturally sensitive, ethical, and safe migration.

3. International Partnerships & Job Placement

  • Build and manage partnerships with overseas employers, recruitment agencies, and government migration programs.
  • Liaise with embassies, labor wings, and migration-support institutions to facilitate placement and legal compliance.
  • Coordinate visa processing, documentation, and onboarding support for migrants.

4. Safe Migration & Compliance

  • Ensure all outbound migration follows national and international labor laws and ethical recruitment standards.
  • Provide pre-departure orientation, post-departure follow-up, and reintegration support (where needed).
  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports to relevant government authorities (e.g., BMET, MoEWOE) as per compliance.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team responsible for outreach, training, placement, and candidate care.
  • Work closely with internal departments and training institutes to align program activities with recruitment demands.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, International Development, Migration Studies, Business Administration, or relevant field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in skilled migration, international placement, or workforce development programs.
  • Deep understanding of international labor markets, migration laws, and technical training standards.
  • Proven experience in managing recruitment and placement pipelines, especially in healthcare, caregiving, and vocational trades.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; fluency in Bangla and English required.
  • Experience with government licensing, documentation, and ethical recruitment practices in Bangladesh
