Role: Business Development Manager - Bangladesh
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and relationship-driven professional to establish and grow apply2XL's presence in Bangladesh. The role will focus on expanding our network of institutional and agent partners, strengthening B2B channels, and driving sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Management & Development:
Identify, approach, and onboard new education partners including universities, colleges, high schools, consultancies and agents. - Build strong, long-term relationships with existing partners to foster ongoing collaboration.
- Act as the liaison between apply2XL and its partner institutions, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies to expand our reach and increase student recruitment numbers. - Explore new markets and regions within Bangladesh for potential growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine our positioning and approach.
- Marketing & Events Support:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote partner institutions through campaigns, events, and digital channels. - Represent apply2XL at education fairs, school visits, and networking events.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking:
Regularly report on partner performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback. - Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize recruitment efforts.
- Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with the Admissions, Visa, and Applications teams to ensure partner-related processes are efficient and well-coordinated.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or student recruitment—ideally in the education sector.
- Strong knowledge in the Study Abroad industry of Bangladesh and key processes of recruitment to destinations like Australia, UK, USA, New Zealand & Canada.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English essential; Bengali is mandatory).
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms.
