Key Responsibilities

  • P&L & Targets:
    Own quarterly/annual order and margin targets; forecast using CRM and funnel hygiene best practices (SQLs → proposals → demos/PoCs → commercial close). Market norms show BDM roles are target-driven with structured pipelines.
  • Hunting & Account Growth:
    Prospect and convert new logos; expand key accounts across multi-site rollouts.
  • Vertical & Tender Sales:
    Track projects, RFPs/EOIs, notices; prepare compliant technical-commercial bids with solution teams; manage pre-bid queries, bid bonds, price justifications. Bangladesh postings for Fire/CCTV managers emphasize tender and corporate sales.
  • Channel Development:
    Recruit, enable, and govern resellers/SIs; set MDF, joint demand-gen, tiered pricing, and quarterly business plans.
  • Solutioning with OEMs:
    Work with Hanwha Vision and allied vendors (VMS/NVR/Storage/Networking/UPS/Fire panels) for BoQ, drawings, and competitive positioning; leverage OEM trainings/learning centers to upskill team and partners.
  • Demo/PoC Leadership:
    Orchestrate site surveys, solution demos, proof-of-concepts, and ROI/TCO narratives for technical and commercial buyers.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Engage C-level, Admin/IT, Safety/Fire, and Procurement; navigate compliance (BNBC/NFPA alignment via solution team), security audits, and factory access protocols often noted in local job specs.
  • Competitive Intelligence:
    Track competitor brands (e.g., other CCTV leaders in BD market) and price moves to defend/expand share.
  • Team Leadership (Sr. Manager):
    Coach 3–8 AEs/SEs/Channel Managers; run weekly reviews, territory plans, and enablement.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 6+ years proven B2B sales/business development in Bangladesh for CCTV/Surveillance, Smart Fire/ELV, Security, or related hardware; strong network with SIs, EPCs, facility owners, and procurement teams. Market listings show these specializations are standard for BDM roles.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end deal ownership: prospecting → technical scoping/BoQ → proposal/tendering → negotiation → closure → handover.
  • Hands-on familiarity with IP cameras, NVR/VMS, analytics, storage, networking, and fire detection/protection solution components. Bangladesh postings for Fire/CCTV managers emphasize this mix.
  • Experience engaging government/industrial clients and e-GP/tender processes in Bangladesh.
  • Strong commercial acumen: pricing models, project cashflow, credit terms, and margin control.
  • Communication: Fluent Bangla & English (written/oral) with executive-level presentation skills.
  • Travel-ready across Bangladesh; valid driver's license preferred.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience selling or competing against top CCTV brands in BD; awareness of market leaders and their differentiators.
  • Prior work with Hanwha Vision ecosystem (Wisenet, WAVE, analytics, Hanwha Learning Center credentials).
  • Background in industrial safety, EHS, factory compliance, or BNBC/NFPA-aligned solutioning (with presales/SE support).
  • Team leadership experience (for Manager → Sr. Manager track).

Education

  • Bachelor's in EEE/CSE/ETE/ICE or Business (with strong tech selling experience). Technical diplomas plus significant field experience also considered.
