Senior Executive – Content Planning & Strategy

GPEL is a global education consultancy dedicated to empowering students with access to quality education, career guidance, and professional development. We are expanding our marketing team to strengthen our brand presence across multiple platforms and markets.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Executive – Content Planning & Strategy to lead our content initiatives, digital marketing activities, and creative campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy, media buying, digital marketing, and creative team management, with at least 3–4 years of proven experience. Experience in EdTech or working in a marketing agency will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

-Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with GPEL's brand objectives and business goals.

-Plan and manage digital campaigns across multiple platforms (social media, paid ads, SEO/SEM, and email).

-Lead and manage a creative team (designers, content writers, and video editors) to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery.

-Oversee media buying activities, ensuring optimal ROI from digital ad spend.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Admissions, Counselling, and Business Development) to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

-Research and implement EdTech-related content trends to position GPEL as a thought leader in the industry.

-Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance to improve effectiveness.

-Ensure all campaigns and projects are completed on time, under pressure, and within deadlines.

-Innovate and suggest new content formats, creative ideas, and engagement strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

-Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.

-3–4 years of experience in content planning, digital marketing, and media buying.

-Proven track record of creative team management and leadership.

-
Strong knowledge of EdTech marketing trends and digital education platforms.

-
Prior experience in a marketing agency will be an added advantage.

-Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

-Strong Analytical mindset with proficiency in digital tools ( Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Anaytics, Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager etc)

-Creative thinker with strong storytelling and communication skills.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment while maintaining high standards.
