Role Description

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decisions, aligning business goals with operational execution, and ensuring continuous improvement across functions. This role involves analyzing processes, developing KPIs, supporting performance reviews, and contributing to strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business operations and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop performance matrices and assist in KPI creation for various roles and teams.
  • Track performance trends and support review cycles.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and functional allocations.
  • Monitor budget usage and report variances with insights.
  • Support project costing, forecasting, and financial reconciliations.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources for reporting purposes.
  • Develop and automate performance and operational dashboards.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful reporting for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver insights.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and documentation efforts for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Finance, Economics, Data science preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, operations, or financial planning
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with project management and performance frameworks is a plus
  • Previous experience in stock analysis and financial institutions, demonstrating a solid foundation in financial data analysis and market dynamics will be considered as added benefits.
