Job Title: Business Development & Marketing Manager

Type: Full-time (9 AM – 5 PM)

Work arrangement: Hybrid

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Applystart is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives, manage a dynamic team, and drive our growth targets of 5X within 12–18 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & vision: Build and execute marketing plans aligned with growth, revenue, and brand goals.

  • Team leadership: Mentor and manage 6–7 members, fostering alignment and high performance.

  • Social & content: Oversee social media, storytelling, content creation, and the campus ambassador program.

  • Performance & growth: Boost lead generation and strengthen word-of-mouth marketing.

  • Offline & partnerships: Lead campus outreach, fairs, community events, and strategic partnerships.

  • Brand & messaging: Define Applystart's positioning and brand story.

  • Measurement & reporting: Set KPIs, track progress, and ensure continuous performance improvement.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Product, Student Success, and Sales to run impactful campaigns.

  • Innovation: Test and scale creative growth initiatives to expand visibility with students and parents.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business or proven experience in a similar role.

  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Leadership skills in mentoring and managing teams.

  • Data-driven, with expertise in dashboards, A/B testing, and performance tracking.

  • Solid grasp of digital marketing, social media, and offline activation.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Creative thinker skilled in executing measurable campaigns.

  • Full availability (no ongoing academic commitments).

  • Professional, disciplined, and focused work ethic.
