Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Language Specialist located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Language Specialist will be responsible for providing translation and interpreting services, facilitating effective communication, and delivering high-quality language support. Additional tasks include creating, editing, and perfecting written materials as part of language service operations. The role requires close collaboration with other UDAF teams and participation in events to support the organization's mission.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Translation and Interpreting services
  • Effective Communication skills and ability to foster understanding
  • Experience in Language Services, including managing multilingual tasks
  • Strong Writing skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work on-site and adapt to organizational needs
  • Familiarity with cultural and linguistic nuances is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Communications, or a related field
