Global Business Development Specialist (Fully Remote)
GearLaunch is looking for a
proactive, results-focused Global Business Development Specialist
to be a central driver of our international growth. You will be key to expanding our global footprint by identifying new market opportunities, building strong strategic partnerships, and ultimately driving the adoption of the GearLaunch platform worldwide.
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for end-to-end business development, from market research to closing deals:
- Market Expansion Strategy:
Conduct in-depth market research to pinpoint and vet high-potential global opportunities. Assist in developing and executing localized market entry and growth strategies. - Strategic Partnership Development:
Proactively identify, pitch, and cultivate relationships with high-value strategic partners, including
e-commerce merchants, digital influencers,
and relevant global industry figures. - Lead Generation & Conversion:
Actively identify, qualify, and develop a robust pipeline of leads in targeted international markets, focusing on the e-commerce sector, and convert them into long-term business partners. - Sales Execution:
Manage a strong sales pipeline, conduct regular client calls, negotiate agreements, and consistently achieve personal and team sales targets. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to share vital market intelligence, ensure seamless partner onboarding, and optimize our global offering. - Performance & Intelligence:
Track and report on key business development metrics, identifying areas for process improvement. Stay ahead of
global e-commerce trends,
competitor activities, and new technologies to continuously shape our business approach.
What We're Looking For
- Experience:
A minimum of
2+ years of proven experience
in business development, international sales, or strategic partnerships, with a documented history of contributing to growth in new markets.
Experience with e-commerce platforms, SaaS, or related technology is a strong plus. - E-commerce Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with the modern e-commerce landscape, including models like
print-on-demand, dropshipping,
and general online retail. - Global Acumen:
The ability to understand and navigate diverse international business environments and cultural nuances effectively. - Relationship & Communication Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to quickly build and maintain beneficial relationships with a variety of global contacts. - Analytical Mindset:
Strong analytical and research skills to interpret market trends and data, informing sound business decisions. - Drive & Autonomy:
Highly
proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated
, capable of working independently to meet and exceed targets in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. - Negotiation:
Proven ability to successfully negotiate and finalize complex agreements with new partners and clients. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. - Language Skills:
Fluency in English is required;
proficiency in additional languages relevant to key international markets is a significant asset.
