GearLaunch is looking for a proactive and results-focused 
Global Business Development Specialist
 to help drive our international growth. This role involves actively identifying and pursuing new market opportunities and building strong partnerships around the world. You will be key in expanding our network by engaging new influencers, merchants, and important industry figures, ultimately helping to grow the use of the GearLaunch platform in new regions.

What You'll Do:

  • Market Opportunity Identification:
     Conduct market research to find new global opportunities for GearLaunch to expand into.
  • Market Entry Support:
     Assist in the execution of market entry plans, adapting strategies to fit local market needs.
  • Partnership Development:
     Proactively identify, reach out to, and build relationships with new strategic partners, including e-commerce merchants, digital influencers, and relevant industry associations worldwide.
  • Value Communication:
     Clearly explain GearLaunch's unique benefits to potential partners and clients, showing how our platform helps them build and grow their online businesses.
  • Pipeline Management:
     Maintain and progress a pipeline of business development opportunities, from initial contact and qualification through to negotiation and partnership launch.
  • Team Collaboration:
     Work closely with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and to share valuable market insights.
  • Performance Tracking:
     Help track and report on key business development metrics, contributing to the identification of areas for improvement.
  • Market Intelligence:
     Stay informed about global e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to help shape business development approaches.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:
     Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, international sales, or strategic partnerships, with a record of contributing to growth in new markets. Experience with e-commerce platforms, SaaS, or related technology is a plus.
  • E-commerce Ecosystem Knowledge:
     Familiarity with the e-commerce landscape, including print-on-demand, dropshipping, and online retail models, is highly desirable.
  • Global Awareness:
     Ability to understand and work effectively within diverse international business environments and cultures.
  • Relationship Building:
     Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain beneficial relationships with various global contacts.
  • Analytical Thinking:
     Good analytical skills for conducting market research and understanding trends to inform decisions.
  • Proactive & Self-Motivated:
     Highly driven, resourceful, and able to work independently to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Negotiation Skills:
     Capable of negotiating and finalizing agreements with new partners and clients.
  • Education:
     Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Language Skills:
     Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to key international markets is a strong asset.
  • Work Environment: Dynamic, professional, friendly, and youthful.
