Empowering Youth in Bangladesh for Global Opportunities project, implemented by the BRAC Institute of Skills Development (BISD), aims to equip Bangladeshi youth with the skills and certifications needed to participate in Japan's Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Program as caregivers. Over 36 months, the project will provide comprehensive training to prepare participants for employment in Japan's caregiving sector, addressing labor shortages while enhancing global job opportunities for Bangladeshi youth. This initiative supports economic development, workforce mobility, and better livelihoods for young individuals from Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Japanese Language (N4 & N3) and cultural training through well-structured, engaging sessions that meet established standards.
• Design session plans, develop assessment tools, and maintain result sheets to effectively monitor and track learner progress.
• Ensure consistent trainee attendance by tracking participation and promptly addressing absenteeism.
• Plan and conduct assessments by administering evaluations during the training to measure trainees` skills and progress.
• Develop initiatives for weak learners by identifying gaps and creating personalized plans to improve their performance.
• Compile and share progress reports with relevant stakeholders to provide timely updates and receive feedback.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training materials and methods by analyzing trainees' responses and making improvements as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with the Senior Trainer /Trainer to discuss learner performance and address training challenges.
• Collaborate with Senior Trainer and Trainer by working closely to ensure training quality and continuous improvement.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional job responsibilities:

• Manage the training team to ensure successful program delivery.
• Utilize effective training and facilitation methods to engage learners.
• Design and develop training module and materials aligned with program objectives.
• Exhibit strong leadership and people management skills while preparing detailed reports on training outcomes.

Educational Requirement

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Education can be relaxed for potential candidates)
• Possession of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certification is mandatory. At Least N4 level is required.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in Japanese Language Training (N4 and N3)

Additional Requirements

Applicants possessing experience in NGOs, Immigration and Education Consultancy Services, Schools, or EdTech Startups will be given favorable consideration
