At Groz Beckert, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable sales growth and maximizing profitability across the assigned markets. This role focuses on expanding market penetration by promoting the division's products and services, while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities to strengthen our customer base.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the sales and marketing functions of the division.
- Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
- Direct and oversee the marketing, sales and distribution activities of the division to identify and develop new
- customers for the division's products and services.
- Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Manage major and critical developing customer accounts.
- Participate in the development of new project proposals as required.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures as required by the division's management.
- Insuring that all marketing tools and materials are available to all customers and dealersPromote positive relations with partners, buying houses, brand owners, and distributors.
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against targets and competitors.
- Responsible for overseeing all sales activities in assigned regions.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinates sales effort with finance, logistics and technical supporters.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and servicesSecures orders from existing and prospective customers through a structured sales process and as well relationship-based approach.
- Expansion of market share.
- Explains Groz-Beckert's products and services to existing / potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Job Requirement
- At least 5 years experience in sales development, preferable in the textile industry.
- Must have a good network in the textile industry in Bangladesh, in particular the spinning segment
- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies.
- Excellent English skills. Outgoing personality, strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of ability to communicate clearly and concisely, especially with foreign customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on an independent basis.
- High motivation, honesty, flexibility, carefulness and reliability.
- Able to work under the direction of a foreign management team.
- University degree, ideally with textile background.
- Work as a team member.
- To be assertive and convincing when necessary.
