Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
IT Support Officer
to manage, monitor, and secure our IT infrastructure. The role combines responsibilities across IT operations, system administration, and security monitoring. The ideal candidate will ensure system availability, performance, and compliance while providing timely support and resolution for incidents and problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Administration & Maintenance

• Manage and maintain
  Windows systems, Windows Server Clusters, and Active Directory (AD)
  environments.
• Perform
  software maintenance, patching, and upgrades
  across servers and endpoints.
• Configure and maintain
  system alerts, monitoring thresholds, and automation scripts
  to improve efficiency.
• Monitor system health, identifying and addressing
  failures or performance degradation
  in a timely manner.

Incident & Problem Management

• Maintain and update the
  Incident Register
  to track and resolve IT incidents.
• Maintain the
  Problem Register
  to document recurring issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Conduct
  root cause analysis
  for system outages, performance issues, and security events.
• Prepare
  resolution documentation and post-incident reports
  for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.

Monitoring & Security Operations

• Proactively monitor IT systems using available tools to ensure availability and resilience.
• Operate within a
  SIEM/SOC environment
  , monitoring, analyzing, and responding to alerts.
• Escalate, investigate, and remediate
  security incidents and vulnerabilities
  .
• Ensure timely
  patch management
  for systems, applications, and security devices.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of
  cybersecurity controls and compliance requirements
  .

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical and security issues.
• Document
  policies, procedures, and best practices
  for IT and security operations.
• Provide regular
  system performance and security reports
  to management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in
  Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and clustering technologies
  .
• Strong understanding of
  incident management, problem management, and ITIL practices
  .
• Experience with
  system monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and SOC operations
  .
• Knowledge of
  patch management, endpoint protection, and automation (PowerShell, scripting, etc.)
  .
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to conduct
  root cause analysis
  .
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
