Job Overview:
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall success and profitability of Nuron Technologies operations in Bangladesh. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth, market expansion, and brand recognition within the Bangladeshi market. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in the IT services or software industry, capable of building and managing high-performing teams, fostering strong client relationships, and navigating the local business landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive country strategy and business plan aligned with Nuron Technologies' global objectives and service offerings.
- Identify key market opportunities, trends, and challenges in the Bangladeshi digital transformation and IT services sector.
- Set clear goals and objectives for revenue growth, market share, and operational efficiency.
- Business Development & Sales:
- Drive aggressive business development initiatives to acquire new clients and expand Nuron Technologies' footprint across target industries.
- Oversee the development and execution of effective sales and marketing strategies tailored to the local market.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with local businesses, technology providers, and industry associations.
- Operations Management:
- Manage all aspects of local operations, including financial performance, human resources, legal compliance, and administrative functions.
- Ensure adherence to global company policies, standards, and ethical practices.
- Monitor performance metrics and financial indicators, reporting regularly to senior management.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance, promoting professional development and accountability.
- Market Understanding & Adaptation:
- Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Adapt Nuron Technologies' offerings and strategies to resonate with local customer needs and cultural nuances while maintaining global standards.
- Stakeholder Relationships:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key clients, government entities, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent Nuron Technologies at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and reputation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in leadership and management roles, with at least 5 years in a General Manager/ Country Manager or similar senior leadership position within the IT services, software, or digital transformation industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new operations, driving significant business growth, and achieving revenue targets in Bangladesh.
- Skills:
- Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High degree of adaptability and resilience in navigating dynamic business environments.
- In-depth understanding of the Bangladeshi market dynamics, business environment, and cultural nuances.
