Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Consultant, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Tax Consultant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, advising on tax strategies, maintaining accurate tax records, and staying updated with new tax laws. Additional tasks include managing tax audits, identifying potential tax-saving opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize tax processes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in tax preparation, compliance, and planning
  • Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and on-site
  • Experience in handling tax audits and tax risk assessments
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant certification is a plus
  • Prior experience in the textile or manufacturing industry is beneficial
