Reporting To: Country Manager

Job Summery
To manage the financial operations of the company in Bangladesh, ensuring compliance with local regulations, accurate financial reporting, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance & Reporting
  • Manage billing, VAT records, vendor payments, and financial statements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for decision-making.
  • Coordinate price declarations and product costing.
  • Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure adherence to Bangladesh tax laws, VAT, and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams for audits and reviews.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and documentation.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital.
  • Handle banking operations and optimize fund usage.
  • Oversee government deposits and financial reconciliations.
  • Commercial Coordination
  • Work closely with manufacturers and distributors on rebates, manual invoicing, and financial alignment.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders for smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of Bangladesh tax and VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
