With established market leadership, UCBD offers full degrees from the University of London under the academic direction of the London School of Economics, full degrees from the University of Lancashire, pathway programmes to Monash University Australia and Malaysia, international foundation programmes, with more programmes being launched in 2026. In this context, UCBD is seeking a highly competent professional for the position of Senior Counsellor.

Major Responsibilities

  • Drive enrollment growth across all programs offered at UCBD.
  • Achieve the key enrollment KPIs as per the individual targets assigned.
  • Generate and shortlist high-potential leads through referrals, phone calls, social media engagement, and walk-in inquiries.
  • Provide professional, mature, and student-focused counseling to prospective applicants.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of UCBD programs and effectively communicate program features, benefits, and outcomes to prospective students and their guardians.
  • Support students with detailed guidance on documentation for scholarships, student loans, and other financial assistance programs.
  • Participate in both online and offline lead-generation and promotional activities in coordination with the Outreach and Marketing teams.
  • Strengthen the positioning of UCBD's academic programs as the premier choice for students in Bangladesh.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution with excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in student counselling, preferably within an educational institution or international university.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passionate about student counselling and committed to helping students make informed academic choices.
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and digital engagement platforms.
