OVERVIEW:

Our client is a leading multinational company seeking for an experienced
EHS Manager
to lead and manage all aspects of Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives across their manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have
a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in EHS
, preferably within a
multinational manufacturing environment
, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations, global EHS standards, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the EHS management system.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, corporate, and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental protection.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify and mitigate EHS hazards.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions for non-compliance or identified risks.
  • Drive a safety-first culture by delivering EHS awareness and training programs for all employees and contractors.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and lead regular drills and simulations.
  • Develop and monitor EHS performance indicators and present periodic reports to senior management.
  • Ensure proper waste management and pollution control practices aligned with sustainability goals.
  • Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and certification bodies as needed.
  • Champion initiatives related to employee health and wellbeing, ergonomics, and workplace hygiene.
  • Lead incident investigation processes, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
  • Benchmark best practices from multinational standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Recognized certifications in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum
    2 years of managerial experience
    in EHS within a
    manufacturing
    environment;
    MNC
    exposure preferred.
