We are looking for a trustworthy and detail-oriented
Accounts & Finance Executive
. In this role, you will manage the agency's financial health. You won't be writing ads; you will be ensuring the people who write them get paid, the lights stay on, and our client invoices are sent out on time.

You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, manage project-based expenses (like production costs), and ensure compliance with Bangladesh's Tax and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Bookkeeping:
    Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions (cash inflows and outflows) using Excel or Accounting Software (e.g., Tally).
  • Invoicing:
    Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients based on approved quotations and contracts. Follow up on aging receivables.
  • Expense Management:
    Handle petty cash for office operations and track project-specific expenses (e.g., shooting costs, vendor payments, media buying funds).
  • Vendor Payments:
    Process payments for suppliers, print vendors, and freelancers, ensuring all bills are verified against work orders.
  • Tax & VAT:
    Ensure proper deduction of Source Tax (AIT) and VAT from bills and assist in preparing monthly Tax/VAT returns in compliance with GoB laws.
  • Payroll:
    Assist in processing monthly salaries and staff allowances.
  • Banking:
    Manage bank deposits, withdrawals, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Reporting:
    Assist the management team with monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).

Who We Are Looking For

  • Education:
    Bachelor's (BBA/B.Com) or Master's (MBA/M.Com) in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience:
    1–2 years of experience in an Accounts role.
    Experience in an advertising agency or service-based company is a huge plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel
    (formulas, spreadsheets) is mandatory. Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software is preferred.
  • Local Knowledge:
    Solid understanding of Bangladesh's Income Tax and VAT laws.
  • Traits:
    High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
