Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Manager to lead all financial operations at Transfotech Academy Bangladesh. This pivotal role is responsible for managing accounting, compliance, financial reporting, and cash flow, while providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management:

  • Maintain full-cycle accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Oversee accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, VAT, and financial reporting standards.
  • Manage inter-company transactions with the US parent organization.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and liaise with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and corporate policies.

Financial Planning & Forecasting:

  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models for management review.
  • Analyze trends, variances, and cost efficiencies to support decision-making.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational initiatives.

Tools & Systems:

  • Manage accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Implement process improvements for transparency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing accounting operations.
  • Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA, CFA – full or part-qualified) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh tax, VAT, and audit regulations.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
