Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources in Hong Kong, the role will be an advisor for all-round people issues and manage HR Operations in country with close partnership with Regional HR team.
Job Responsibilities:
HRBP
• Advise all business in all people related matters, include but not limited to talent management such as manpower, employee relations, succession planning and training needs identification
• Drive the recruitment and selection include not but limited to the development of recruitment channels and selection metrics to identity and retain talents.
• Develop or localize global HR policies and practices to fit realities of local market, include but not limited to employee handbooks, rewards and benefits
C&B & Operations
• Responsible for monthly payroll, provident fund, tax filing with external vendors to ensure on time, accuracy report and payment cycle.
• Work close with HK Team to review benefits and provide insight of Bangladesh market, and recommend modification to remain competitive in the market.
• Maintained staff record in HRIS (Workday) and logistics in regards for onboarding, staff movement and offboarding.
• Manage leave and benefit administration of employees, and HR reports on a routine basis for management.
• Develop partnerships with employees, HR partners, and assist in resolution of employee issues including performance and disciplinary actions.
• Provide up to date market intelligence on benefits information and labor law.
Performance Management
• Manage annual and mid-year performance management cycle to lead. Providing coaching and feedback to leader.
• Responsible for building impactful succession plans, i.e. establish a documented succession plan, including specific procedures and scenarios, for relevant positions/categories and coordinate with relevant teams to implement these plans when applicable.
Job Specifications:
- 10 years or above of experience for all-round HR function with 5 years in managerial level.
 - Prior experience in apparel buying office or MNC is an advantage.
 - Bachelor degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other related disciplines.
 - Sound knowledge and hands-on experience on payroll, taxation and work permit administration, management of Provident Fund, Gratuity Funds.
 - Solid experience as HRBP to provide consultancy advice to support business teams on various aspects include but not limited to people development, talent acquisition, team transformation.
 - Well versed in local Bangladeshi employment legislations, with profound knowledge in garment and sourcing industry is an advantage.
 - Well organize on multiple tasks to meet due dates with high level of accuracy and attentive to details.
 - Excellent presentation & communication skills, proficiency in spoken and written English.
