Support Engineer – System & Network
. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including system administration, network operations, and end-user support across various business units and locations. The ideal candidate will play a critical part in ensuring seamless IT service delivery within a fast-paced industrial and corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file sharing systems.
  • Manage server performance, system backups, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Network Management

  • Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
  • Manage routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Mikrotik).
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and vendors to maintain connectivity and resolve issues.

End-User Support

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Install and maintain operating systems and essential software.
  • Track and resolve IT incidents through helpdesk systems.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and user documentation.

IT Security & Compliance

  • Implement and manage endpoint security and antivirus solutions.
  • Apply regular updates and patches to systems and devices.
  • Support IT audits and ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external standards.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, or network operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing or large-scale enterprise environments will be considered an advantage.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+, RHCE, or equivalent.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of system and network infrastructure.
  • Experience in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Knowledge of routing, subnetting, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and backup systems.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel to factory or remote sites if required.
