Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer with hands-on experience in training, fine-tuning, and deploying Small Language Models (SLM). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern machine learning frameworks, strong programming skills, and practical experience in optimizing and scaling language model pipelines for real-world applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Model Training & Fine-Tuning
  : Design, train, and fine-tune SLM models for various NLP tasks (e.g., text classification, summarization, generation).
• Pipeline Development
  : Develop scalable training and inference pipelines for LLM/SLM models.
• Performance Optimization
  : Optimize model performance (latency, memory efficiency, and throughput) for deployment.
• Model Monitoring & Evaluation
  : Implement model monitoring, evaluation, and benchmarking strategies.
• Collaboration
  : Work closely with data engineers and product teams to curate datasets and align model outputs with business needs.
• Continuous Learning
  : Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP, foundation models, and model compression techniques (e.g., quantization, pruning, distillation, LoRA).

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

3+ years of experience in ML/AI engineering, with at least 1+ years of direct work with language models.

Must Have Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
• Experience with training and deploying transformer-based models (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI, LLaMA, Falcon, Mistral).
• Knowledge of distributed training, GPU/TPU optimization, and model scaling.
• Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning techniques (e.g., instruction tuning, RLHF, LoRA, PEFT).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Kubeflow Weights & Biases, Ray).
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts and model evaluation metrics.

Salary

• Within a range of BDT. 50,000 to BDT. 75,000 per month
