At Sheba Fintech Limited, as we scale our digital financial services across Bangladesh, we're looking for a finance professional who thrives at the intersection of regulatory precision, financial integrity, and data clarity. This role is for someone who can bring structure to complexity, ensure compliance across touchpoints, and support a fintech ecosystem where trust and transparency are non-negotiable.

Your Key Responsibilities:


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local standards


• Ensure accurate and timely VAT, Tax, and regulatory compliance filings (including Bangladesh Bank reporting, where applicable)


• Support internal and external audits — proactively manage documentation and clarifications


• Handle accounts payable & receivable cycles for smooth financial operations


• Maintain real-time, accurate bookkeeping and reconciliations — leave no room for mismatch


• Perform intercompany transaction reconciliations with speed and accuracy


• Monitor daily bank transactions and prepare reconciliation statements


• Assist in developing annual budgets and rolling forecasts


• Collaborate across teams for data collection and financial reporting


• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulators (including tax and NBR officials)


• Stay ready to step into any finance operation need — agility is key

You Are:


• A finance-first thinker with 3–4 years of solid experience in financial reporting and data analysis


• Graduate in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Economics from a reputed local/foreign university


• Part-qualified ACCA or CACC is a strong plus


• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets — your formulas are bulletproof


• Experienced in ERP systems; bonus if you've used Tableau, Power BI, or SQL


• Analytical, proactive, and capable of solving problems before they escalate


• Someone who thrives under deadlines, adapts fast, and never compromises on accuracy


• High in integrity, ownership, and data discipline — essential traits in a regulated fintech
