Job Overview

The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall operational management of Poloniex, ensuring efficient execution across all aspects of technology, compliance, risk management, customer success, and business operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Director will optimize company processes, drive organizational coordination and development, and provide sustainable support for business expansion. This position is a key member of the company's executive team, responsible for translating strategic vision into concrete operational results.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance across global functions.

Build, optimize, and scale processes to support rapid growth and operational resilience.

Ensure close alignment between company strategy, organizational structure, and execution.

Strategic Execution and Business Development

Translate the company's strategic vision into actionable operational plans.

Work with the CEO and senior management team to develop and implement growth strategies.

Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost optimization, and technology-driven improvements.

Risk, Compliance, and Security Management

Ensure operational compliance with global regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to establish and maintain robust control systems.

Protect the company's reputation and provide operational transparency and accountability.

Cross-functional Leadership

Oversee key functions, including Technology Operations, Customer Success, Finance, Human Resources, and Compliance.

Facilitate global team collaboration to ensure the successful completion of key tasks.

Promote a high-performance culture and a philosophy of continuous improvement.

Customer Experience and Retention

Work with the Customer Success team to ensure an exceptional user experience.

Develop strategies to enhance customer trust, reduce friction, and increase long-term engagement.

Leverage customer insights to improve products, services, and operational processes.

Data-driven decision making

Establish operational key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting systems, and dashboards to measure organizational performance.

Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to guide decision-making and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

15+ years of operational, strategic, or general management experience, including at least 5 years in senior management positions.

Proven track record in fintech, blockchain, digital asset, or high-growth technology companies.

Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, and security frameworks in the financial services sector.

Proven track record of scaling operations in a global, multi-market organization.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's degree or higher (business, finance, economics, or a related field); MBA or higher preferred.

Fluent English; proficiency in other languages ​​is a plus.
