About the role

The
Art Director – Creative Strategy & Planning
will lead the creative vision for GPEL's brand, ensuring all campaigns, content, and design initiatives are strategically aligned, visually compelling, and trend-forward. This role combines creative leadership with strategic planning to deliver consistent, high-quality brand communication across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

1.
Creative Strategy & Content Planning

-Lead ideation and conceptualization of campaigns, digital content, social media visuals, and marketing collaterals.

-Develop creative strategies that align with GPEL's brand vision and marketing objectives.

-Generate innovative content ideas, keeping up with global trends in education, edtech, and digital marketing.

-Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and resonates with target audiences.

2.
Design Supervision & Quality Control

-Oversee design production across all projects to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.

-Approve and provide constructive feedback on creative outputs to ensure visual excellence.

-Maintain visual brand consistency across digital, print, and experiential campaigns.

3.
Team Guidance & Leadership

-Mentor and guide the creative/design team in executing campaigns efficiently.

-Delegate responsibilities while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

-Support skill development and performance improvement within the creative team.

4.
Brand Theme Maintenance

-Ensure GPEL brand identity is consistently maintained across all communications.

-Develop templates, style guides, and brand assets to streamline creative output.

-Conduct periodic brand audits to maintain alignment and consistency.

5.
Campaign & Cross-Functional Collaboration

-Collaborate with marketing, content, sales, and operations teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

-Support campaign execution with creative solutions that drive engagement and impact.

-Act as the creative liaison in cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment of vision and messaging.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.

-Minimum 5–7 years of experience in creative strategy, art direction, or content design, preferably in edtech, education, or marketing agencies.

-Proven portfolio showcasing creativity, campaign planning, and brand building.

-Expertise in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, etc.)

-Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.

-Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality, trendy content on tight deadlines.

-Knowledge or experience in Edtech, Study Abroad, or Visa & Immigration consultancy is a strong advantage.

-Up-to-date with design trends, marketing innovations, and digital platforms.
