Area Manager – Spark Ride

Location: All over Bangladesh

Reports To: Head of Sales

Department: Sales Operation, Electric Bike Division

Position Overview

The Area Manager – Sales will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, dealership development, and market expansion within an assigned territory. The role requires strategic leadership, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to achieve aggressive sales targets while ensuring superior customer satisfaction
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Manage and expand dealer/distributor networks, ensuring strong coverage and availability of Spark Ride products.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer trends, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, fleet operators, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions for underperforming areas.

· Work closely with the dealers to manage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely deliveries.

  • Ensure brand visibility through effective promotional campaigns, events, and local activations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, after-sales, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Handle escalated customer issues in the region and ensure timely resolution

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Masters's degree in any discipline, however, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field are preferred. For exceptional candidates Bachelor's degree might be accepted.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the automotive, electric vehicle, or consumer electronics sector.
  • Strong knowledge of channel sales, distribution management, and B2B/B2C sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, travel extensively, and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM/ERP tools.
