BRAC Internal Audit announces the call for applications for the
Fellowship in Internal Audit
. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity for fresh graduates who aspire to build a career in internal auditing. The fellow will work closely with divisional audit teams, gaining hands-on experience in audit planning, execution, and reporting, while learning BRAC's robust Internal Audit practices and systems. Upon successful completion of the fellowship, the fellow will have the opportunity to be considered for future employment within BRAC and will join a growing network of BRAC Internal Audit Fellows dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability, and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in executing internal audits according to the Monthly Audit Schedule, in alignment with the Annual Internal Audit Plan.
• Support the development of high-quality audit reports that meet management expectations through effective meetings and discussions.
• Ensure timely and systematic documentation, maintaining adequate and appropriate evidence to support audit findings.
• Contribute to the review of audit reports, preparation of MIS reports, and follow-up on pending management responses.
• Collaborate with various divisions and sections within the department to ensure the successful implementation of the Annual Audit Plan.
• Maintain coordination with programmes and other departments on audit-related matters, including updates and compliance with organizational circulars issued throughout the year.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possesses a sound understanding of Internal Audit principles and accounting practices.
• Skilled in auditing processes with strong proficiency in IT applications and tools.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical ability and problem-solving skills, with a dedicated and hard-working attitude.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management from a reputed university under the Faculty of Business Studies. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong academic background in Business disciplines.
