Role Description

  1. Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote
    imported woven/knit fabrics
    in local garment and buying houses.
  2. Identify and create new customer leads, especially RMG factories and sourcing agents.
  3. Regularly visit potential clients to show fabric swatches, understand requirements, and generate purchase interest.
  4. Must have strong idea about fabric details, lead time, and availability.
  5. Prepare fabric price offers, negotiate terms, and finalize orders with clients.
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and update pricing and product strategies accordingly.
  7. Ensure timely delivery coordination and follow-up on payment collection from clients.
  8. Maintain customer database and prepare monthly sales & visit reports for management.
  9. Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to promote company offerings.

Qualifications & Education

  • Graduate in any discipline (Textile background preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years' proven experience in fabric marketing (knit & woven - Imported Fabrics). Candidates without fabric marketing experience will not be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of fabric types, GSM, construction, dyeing, finishing.
  • Good command of English & excellent communication skills.
  • Strong network with garment industry & buying house professionals.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive in approach.

Salary Range

BDT 50,000 – 70,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
