Job description:

TCL Group is seeking dynamic, experienced and strategic Head of HR for Global Operations. The ideal candidate will play an important role in managing HR 360, ensuring compliance and align people management with organizational goal.

Key Responsibilities:


•  Manpower Planning & Budgeting: Analyse departmental needs and develop workforce plans.


•  Recruitment & On-boarding: Oversee job postings, shortlisting, interviews, salary negotiations, and smooth on-boarding.


•  Performance Management: Conduct periodic appraisals, issue increments/promotions, and report directly to management.


•  Payroll & Compliance: Manage global attendance, leave records, and timely payroll submission.


•  Policy & Discipline Management: Formulate, implement, and monitor HR policies, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.


•  Employee Engagement: Organize team meetings, awards, and recognition programs to foster a positive culture.


•  Database & Reporting: Maintain employee records, ensure confidentiality, and provide HR metrics/reports to management.


•  Cost Optimization: Implement salary band systems, negotiate on-boarding salaries, and reduce dual claims/expenses.


•  Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with universities, external partners, and internal teams (Admin, IT, Marketing, Finance) for smooth operations.

Requirements:


•  Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.


•  8+ years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


•  Strong knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance.


•  Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.


•  Ability to manage multi-country HR operations.
