Position Overview:
The
Assistant Manager – HR & Administration
will be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment, employee performance analysis, HR compliance, and administrative operations. This role demands a
detail-oriented and compliance-driven professional
with proven experience in managing HR and administrative functions efficiently. Preference will be given to candidates with
experience in the Edtech, Study Abroad, or Education Services industry
, who understand the nuances of recruiting for academic, counseling, and marketing roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process — from job posting to onboarding.
- Identify staffing needs in collaboration with departmental heads and develop recruitment plans accordingly.
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates using modern tools and platforms.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for academic, sales, marketing, and operations roles.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and coordinate final selection with management.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Performance Management & Analysis
- Assist in implementing the company's performance appraisal system and KPI structure.
- Collect and analyze employee performance data, providing monthly and quarterly reports to management.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment between performance and business goals.
- Recommend performance improvement or training programs based on data-driven insights.
- Support the development of reward, recognition, and incentive programs.
Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Laws and company HR policies.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, and documentation.
- Implement and audit HR policies, ensuring organizational compliance and accountability.
- Manage attendance, leave records, and disciplinary actions in coordination with management.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Administration & Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations including office logistics, supplies, and vendor coordination.
- Support facility management, event coordination, and overall workplace efficiency.
- Develop and enforce administrative policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Operations for payroll, procurement, and logistics alignment.
Employee Engagement & Training
- Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication campaigns.
- Coordinate training, workshops, and development sessions aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum
3 years of proven experience
in HR & Administration, preferably in the
Edtech, Study Abroad, or Education Consultancy industry. - Strong understanding of
recruitment strategy, performance evaluation, and HR compliance. - Excellent knowledge of
Bangladesh Labour Law
and HR best practices. - Proficiency in HR software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
