Manager/Sr.Manager-Marketing (Fish Feed)

Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context:

Alma Feed Industries Limited operates in the agribusiness sector, focusing on the production of high-quality feed for poultry, cattle and fish. The company likely caters to famers and livestock producers, aiming to improve the nutrition and growth of animals, fish through scientifically formulated feed products. This could involve various stages of production, including sourcing raw materials, processing them into feed, and distributing the final products to clients. Alma Feed Industries Limited produces chicks, which involves breeding and hatching poultry. This process requires maintaining optimal conditions for incubation and chick rearing to ensure high-quality and healthy chicks for farmers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates market information and situation to find new scope to improve Fish Feed Business.
  • Visit potential dealers and customers for new business opportunities as frequent as possible.
  • Do the needful evaluation & research on the existing feed market situation.
  • Give necessary technical support to the pisciculture and dealers.
  • Ensure Individual Sales of Feed Products as per given target by the management.
  • Ensure collection against sales as per company policy.
  • Resolve all customer queries and provide proper guidance to them where required.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and market trends for the knowledge of higher management.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase fish feed sales and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and key stakeholders in the aquaculture industry.
  • Collaborate with the production and R&D teams to improve product offerings.
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to stay ahead in the market.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fisheries
  • Masters of Science (M.Sc) in Fisheries will get preferable.
  • Skills Required: Sales & Marketing

Experience Requirements

  • 10 to 17 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Agro based Startup

Additional Requirements

  • Good computer Knowledge
