About the Role:

In this position, you would play a vital role in bridging the Bangladesh‑based team and UK regulatory/payroll obligations. The tasks are both operational (payroll processing) and governance‑oriented (secretarial/filings), so you gain exposure to international compliance as well as internal financial/administrative processes. For someone looking to grow in global payroll and company secretarial functions, this role offers breadth and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage UK payroll for all clients, ensuring accurate and timely payment in compliance with UK payroll regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including payroll changes, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of tax liabilities, National Insurance contributions, and other statutory deductions.
  • Prepare and submit HMRC submissions, including PAYE, NIC, pension contributions, and other related reports.
  • Submit monthly and weekly payroll information to clients, ensuring the correct figures are reported.
  • Handle monthly and quarterly EPS submissions for SMP/SPP and nil return payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Manage monthly and weekly workplace pension submissions, ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment requirements.
  • Coordinate and complete Pension Auto Enrolment tasks, including adding employer and employee details in NEST and obtaining written employee confirmation for pension submissions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) returns.
  • Handle payroll updates when received from another accountant, ensuring seamless transition and proper record-keeping.
  • Reconcile quarterly PAYE figures and email them to clients, ensuring the figures are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end payroll reports, including P60s, P11Ds, and other statutory reports.
  • Stay updated on changes in UK payroll legislation, tax codes, and pension laws to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Assist with payroll audits and statutory compliance checks.
  • Generate detailed payroll reports for management, ensuring that all reports comply with UK tax laws.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure payroll integration with accounting systems and the company's financial reports.
  • Address and resolve employee queries regarding payroll, tax, and deductions professionally and efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of payroll policies and procedures to streamline operations.

Company Secretarial Responsibilities:

  • Assist with company secretarial duties for UK companies, including maintaining corporate records, filing with Companies House, preparing board minutes, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirements:
     ACCA (Partially qualified or affiliated) or relevant degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Experience:
     At least 2 years of experience in UK payroll processing and compliance.
  • Experience in Company Secretarial work
     will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., 
    Capium
    , Xero, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of UK tax, payroll, and pension regulations.
  • Experience in handling PAYE, NIC, and other statutory deductions.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and general payroll systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle employee queries professionally and confidentially.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and provide payroll support to senior management.

Remuneration:
