Job Description / Responsibility

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily cash flows, manage collections and disbursements, and ensure liquidity for operational and financial obligations.
  • Assist in short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local and international banks for smooth daily transactions.
  • Assess risks related to Local & Foreign Currency Investments, Monetary Policy, Foreign Currency Policy, Credit Ratings etc.
  • Oversee bank account administration, including signatory mandates.
  • Coordinate bank transactions, including transfers, payments, and trade finance instruments (e.g., LCs).
  • Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations.
  • Manage financial risks such as FX exposure, interest rates, and credit risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum BBA/MBA in Finance/Accounting from a reputed university.
  • CA/CMA (Partly Qualified) will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of financial instruments, treasury management, local banking systems, and Bangladeshi tax and VAT laws.
  • Candidates with experience in banking or financial institutions will be given preference.
  • Proficient in business English with effective professional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
