The role of a Woven Label Designer at a trims and accessories company like Harnest involves translating brand identity and client specifications into visually compelling and functional woven labels. These labels are integral to the branding and quality perception of garments and accessories.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret client briefs to develop designs for woven labels that align with brand guidelines. This includes selecting appropriate materials, colors, and weaving techniques to achieve the desired aesthetic and functionality.
  • Ensure that the final woven labels meet quality standards, with attention to detail in terms of weaving precision, color accuracy, and overall finish.
  • Have to design labels for
    both taffeta and satin fabrics
  • Consider
    color contrast, font size, and thread type
    to ensure clarity and durability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design 5+ years of relevant experience with knowledge of weaving techniques
  • Need knowledge of finishing methods (heat cutting, folding, sewing) for each fabric.
  • Leadership and effective communication skills both in Bangla & English
  • Proficiency in Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator
