ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Academic Requirement: BSc in civil engineering from reputed university.
Responsibilities Will Include
Conduct structural safety audits supplier factories and provide expert-level assessments.

Review and validate structural designs, load plans, and retrofitting proposals in accordance with BNBC, IBC, and other applicable codes.

Lead the tracking and follow-up of remediation progress for structural safety issues using Smartsheet, Excel, and SharePoint.

Coordinate with 3rd party structural audit firms for audit planning, execution, and reporting.

Evaluate and approve Corrective Action Plan (CAP) evidence submitted by factories and escalate unresolved issues.

Perform regular factory visits to verify implementation of structural safety measures and provide technical guidance.

Develop and deliver structural safety training materials and awareness sessions for factory personnel and internal teams.

Prepare quarterly reports and dashboards on structural safety performance for senior management.

Maintain accurate records for CSR scorecard reporting and internal compliance reviews.

Stay current with updates to BNBC, IBC, and other structural safety standards and integrate them into program practices.

Support incident investigations and provide technical input on structural safety-related escalations.

What We Will Be Looking For In You
Include but not limited to

  • Hands-on experience in structural safety, preferably in the garment or manufacturing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of BNBC, IBC, and other structural safety codes and standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bangla.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
