The incumbent will be responsible for the overall fire safety and prevention management within the factory. Key duties include:

  • Policy & Planning: Develop, implement, and continuously update comprehensive fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans in strict compliance with local regulations and international buyer standards (BNBC, NFPA, RSC, Nirapon, Primark, etc.).
  • Systems Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly routine inspections of all fire detection and protection systems, including but not limited to fire hydrants, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, fire doors, hose reels, and alarm systems.
  • Equipment Integrity: Ensure all firefighting equipment and systems are fully operational through a rigorous schedule of testing, preventive maintenance, and timely servicing.
  • Risk Management & Hazard Control: Perform regular fire risk assessments across all facilities. Prepare and implement effective Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to mitigate identified hazards and ensure a safe work environment.
  • High-Risk Work Supervision: Monitor and authorize all hot work activities through a formal permit-to-work system, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during high-risk operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all fire safety activities, including inspection logs, maintenance schedules, fire drill reports, training records, and incident reports.
  • Design & Compliance Review: Assist the engineering and project teams in reviewing and approving fire protection system layouts and safety signage for new construction and facility modifications.
  • Audit & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all national laws and company safety standards. Act as the key point of contact and facilitate all external audits conducted by RSC, Nirapon, Primark, and other buyers.
