We're Hiring: Remote SAP DMS Consultant (Defense Sector | German Speaking | Hybrid)

We're supporting a leading client in the defense sector, looking for an experienced SAP DMS Consultant to manage and customize document management systems, including ERP & PLM interfaces.

Start:

Engagement: Full-time, long-term freelance / contract opportunity

Location: Remote (~80%) / Onsite (~20%)

Industry: Defense

Language Requirement: German (must)

Responsibilities:

Manage workstreams as a link between business and IT, including project planning, action tracking (e.g., ServiceNow), and sprint management

Provide technical & conceptual support for authorizations (role and rights concepts)

Optimize and document processes and system settings

Manage external service providers (e.g., SEAL Systems AG)

Plan and implement workflow automation and output management measures

Profile:

Several years of experience in SAP DMS, preferably S/4HANA projects

Strong process knowledge in document management, including ArchiveLink & SAP table level

Experience with workflow automation (Flexible Workflow, Change Record, BRF+)

Expertise in ERP/PLM interfaces and authorization concepts

Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Fiori environment (OData Services, App Support)

Participation in at least two SAP DMS reference projects, managing subprojects or workstreams

Note:

Open to candidates already based in Germany/EU with valid work authorization.
